Inside Naetivate Sportswear LTD Brand

Founder Danaea “Nae” Benton formerly Danaea Williams whose childhood nickname is ”Nae Nae “ Coined the term “Naetivate“ by combining her child hood nickname with the word motivate creating Naetivate Sportswear Ltd Brand.  Nae is no stranger to sports she grew up playing basketball in a small town named  Kalamazoo, Michigan. She also most credit where she was first introduced to basketball at in South Haven, Michigan. She  starred at Kalamazoo Central High and KVCC where she was an All- American, Later attendind Central State University where she is in the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame at Central State University. Nae, also pursued a professional basketball career where she attended WNBA Free Agent Basketball Camps, Private Workouts with the Chicago Sky. Before she landed a contract in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico where she played 3 seasons. 

Nae, currently spends some of her time as a player development basketball trainer in the Dayton area. Nae, has a strong love for development and continues to have true passion for the game of basketball. 

Nae, also has a love for tshirts and she thought of the idea of putting positivity on shirts as a way to give kids that she trained an extra dose of motivation. Out of that thought Naetivate Sportswear Ltd was launched January 2024.

Nae - has over 20 years experience working  with the social service and juvenile justice sectors. She currently gives back to her community with motivational speaking which she refers to as “Naetivate Speaking”. In July 2024, partnering with Charlies Place and other community organizations.  Nae held her first free Naetivate Camp in her hometown in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
